Here are just some of the comments we’ve received so far about this year’s Festival. Thank you to all our visitors and volunteers!

Just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful day!!! I drove up from Chatswood with my Partner (who isn’t into gardening at all!). We met my Parents who are very keen gardeners in Blackheath  (who in their 70s). We all had a great time! We went to 4 gardens in all. Truly superb, well organised, happy volunteers. Couldn’t have asked for a better day! Congratulations for organising such a wonderful event! See you in 2 years.

Mum and I arrived early at Banool in Linden on Sunday morning. We met one of the owners called Phil and his 2 little dogs named Thor and Wren.
Phil took us on a tour of his cool garden and told us all about the history and the different garden rooms. While Mum stayed at the table, I enjoyed greeting the visitors and showing them around the garden. I told them some facts about the garden and showed them the treehouse, the rock garden, the secret room and the mirror garden. I took photos of people in the garden, everyone was very kind and nice to me. I had a great morning and would love to do it again next time.

Thank you so much. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The amount of prep for this was unbelievable from you and also the garden owners. Looking forward to tomorrow.

We totally loved it. Interacting with the visitors. Your support team totally awesome and friendly nothing too much trouble especially for me first time yesterday. Everyone supportive and also made it fun. I’m definitely doing it again next year. The amount of detail you all did to get us ready was amazing. The box for each garden folders and notes. The printing and artworks. So much effort. In fact next year I want to help more. The best thing was yesterday I did it with my daughter so we bonded so well and she saw what it was like to do for others and help her school. And today my wife helped me all day while my daughter jumped ship to help our neighbour keira as she knew what to do. So it became a quality family weekend. Thankyou again all your team. Totally awesome.

I just wanted to congratulate you all on the Garden Festival. It was a delightful experience for both Ray and me (as participants and gate volunteers). The behind the scenes organisation was outstanding and a tribute to you. Well done team!

Hayden and I had a great morning! There were plenty of visitors between 10-12:30 and then it tapered off. Our hosts Phil and Anne were lovely and everyone loved their garden. I am very proud of Hayden and I got many wonderful comments 💙💙. We got there early and Phil walked us around and gave us some history etc and so Hayden then walked couples and groups around explaining what Phil had told us. Helen took photos for people and even got in a few. One lovely couple even tipped him $5 (they wanted to give him more). He has walked away feeling super chuffed with himself and wants to be part of the next one even though he will be in high school! Such a great day to be a part of! 💚🍃💚🌿
So very proud! Getting the Stage 3 students to help is a great initiative and we should definitely keep it! Thank you for all your hard work!

Very well signed posted for each garden. All nine were impressive gardens and inspiring too. Must now go home and pull weeds! Enjoyable day. Highly recommend.

The garden festival was outstanding! We visited all 9 gardens, each showcasing a variety of vibrant plants and innovative designs. We could immerse ourselves in tranquil landscapes, each thoughtfully crafted to inspire and uplift. The event’s blend of beauty and calm made it an ultimate experience for garden enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. The scavenger hunt was brilliant and engaged the little people (and big people). All the volunteers were so helpful and friendly. We are so impressed how well planned the event was. Thank you.

A wonderful local event, inspiring and beautiful gardens, such dedicated volunteers and festival organisers. The gardens are very well signposted so easy to find. I have loved attending this garden festival over the years. Such a delight watching the kids looking for the items for the scavenger hunt! To the organisers, you have created an amazing festival once again!
